Accounting Manager – Centralized Dealership Accounting
Location: Mason, Ohio

We are a growing, multi-location dealership group with a centralized accounting office serving 15 stores. We’re seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead and oversee one or more functional departments within our centralized accounting team—such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Titles, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of assigned accounting department(s) within the centralized office.
• Manage a team of accounting staff—providing leadership, training, workflow direction, and performance management.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions and department deliverables.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments and store-level personnel to resolve discrepancies and support operational needs.
• Assist with month-end close procedures and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience; dealership or centralized accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of dealership accounting systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
